On Tuesday, May 17, 2022 Fort Edward Union Free School District residents voted to approve the districts 2022-2023 proposed budget with 140 in favor and 65 voting against it.
Also on the ballot
- Lease of one (1) 66 passenger school bus not to exceed $23,000 per year over five years was approved. 149 voting in favor and 52 voting against.
- Changing the number of Board of Education members from 9 members to 7 members was approved. 126 voting in favor and 72 voting against.
- Establishing a transportation & maintenance equipment reserved with a maximum limit of $2,000,000 with an end date of June 30, 2032 was approved. 139 voting in favor and 62 voting against.
Board of Education Election Results
The residents of Fort Edward have voted to elect the following candidates to the Board of Education.
- Ella Collins to a five year seat.
- Taylor Boucher to a five year seat
- Tim Clark for the reminder of Anita Tripp's seat with the term ending in 2024
