Congratulations to the Flying Forts bowling team as they fought their way to a respectable second place finish in the Section 2 Class C Bowling Championships at Boulevard Bowl in Schenectady on Friday, February 11. Perennial rival Hoosick Falls, undefeated in the Wasaren League, edged out the Forts, undefeated in the Adirondack League to take the title by just 95 pins after 30 games of competition. On the day, Edward Amell was the 5th best bowler with a pin total of 1227 and Dillon Perkins was close behind in sixth with a total of 1225. Each score has to survive competition in the A and B classes of schools before being considered for the Section 2 All-Star team finals at States in Syracuse in March.
