The Fort Edward BOE is seeking a qualified candidate to fill an open Board of
Education seat through the next general election in May 2022. Preference will be given to former members and past candidates who have shown a desire to serve on the Board. Qualifications - A school board candidate must be a U.S. citizen, at least 18 years old,
qualified voters in the school district and able to read and write. They must be residents of the Fort Edward Union Free School District continuously for one year at the time of appointment. At the time when the board member takes office, they cannot be employed by the board on which they serve or live in the same household with a family member who is also a member of the same school board.
